But Vulture has learned that Kaling and the producers of The Office have worked out a deal for the actress to return to the NBC comedy for at least two episodes of the show’s ninth season.

“I’ll definitely be in the first episode next season and probably at least one other one too, which I’m really excited about,” Kaling said this morning during the TCA session for The Mindy Project.
